-2% funding rate on $FHE is a blessing- if I didn’t have a futures position opened already I would readjust to 4x leverage and max it out with a 100k$ position size (25k margin) before the funding round for a free 2000$
If the funding rate remains above -1% before funding round closes its definitely worth farming the fee if you have capital to do so, if you find a long entry to hold out even better making money off fees and price appreciation!
Sellers/Shorters are going to feel max pain from the funding fees the pressure won’t last for long.
