Meta’s “second-largest” Baidu in North America—every time it’s up early and catches the late crowd.

The news headline from the day before yesterday was 《AI computing power in short supply—Google restricts Meta’s use of the Gemini model》;
and today it’s 《Meta is actively building its cloud business, selling off surplus AI compute capacity》.

I’ve got an idea: what if Meta sells its surplus compute to Google, and Google then converts it into Gemini to provide to Meta? Wouldn’t that be a win-win? 🫡
