【Bottom-fishing TRX? You might be early】

When you see the Fear & Greed Index at 19, what’s your first reaction? Rush in to bottom-fish?

First, pull your hands back.

I’ve been doing TRX for three years. I’ve seen this kind of level more than once. FNG 19, while the weekly average is only 14—so the market is already at extreme fear. But do you really think this is the bottom? Not necessarily.

TRX is now at 0.3188. Up 0.5% in the past 24 hours, down 1.7% over 7 days. Sounds like it’s stabilizing? Don’t be fooled. The trading volume is painfully sluggish—everyone is just lying there, not moving. The most dangerous moment is right now—direction is about to be chosen, but you have no idea which way.

The key is 0.308807. Hold this level, and TRX still has a chance; if it breaks down, sentiment will completely collapse. What are the big players doing right now? I’ve looked at on-chain data—they’re not making any big moves yet and are still watching. What does that mean? They’re also waiting for signals and don’t plan to pump the market right now.

BTC’s market cap share is 55.7%, and this “bloodsucking” trend hasn’t ended yet. TRX has retraced 26.1% from the highs, and it’s down another 6.3% within 30 days. There can be a mid-term repair, but that doesn’t mean an immediate rebound.

Historical data tells me that in the extremely fearful zone, bottoms do tend to form—but not every time. If the conditions aren’t met, bottom-fishing is just digging a hole for yourself.

So what conditions are worth acting on? First, trading volume must expand to at least twice what it is now. Second, 0.308807 must hold for three straight days without breaking. Third, big players’ wallets must show sustained net inflows. Only when all three are met will I consider building a position.

I’m not afraid of the current market environment—but I am afraid of your impulsiveness.

Will you bottom-fish TRX in extreme fear? Or will you wait for clearer signals?
