From the edge of liquidation to breaking into the top 13! I turned the tables with 50x leverage but chose to take profits early…
Brothers, it's really damn exciting!
In the last two days of the trading competition, I went from almost collapsing to ranking high on the leaderboard. In those last few days, I was fully invested with 50x betting on ETH. I did make money, but now my hands are shaking.
It really proves that saying — what you earn by luck can be taken back by skill at any time. You can gamble in competitions, but who dares to keep pushing high leverage in a long-term race with real money?
Ultimately, in this trading game, staying alive is more important than making a big profit. When a bull market comes, you need to dare to take positions; in a volatile market, you have to protect your profits.
But protecting profits relies not on feelings, but on real stability tools — which is also why I spent most of my time researching how to reduce overall account volatility.
Speaking of which, I have to mention the @USDD - Decentralized USD I’ve been using lately.
Especially in this kind of market, holding Bitcoin or Ethereum, you're afraid of pullbacks when prices rise and worried about missing out when prices drop; your mindset can easily get distorted. A portion of my positions will now be converted to $USDD because it has over 130% TRX and other high liquidity assets as collateral, pegged to 1 dollar, which is stable.
I don’t have to worry about it suddenly depreciating; instead, I can treat it as a "mid-game break area": when the market is unclear, I can convert assets to USDD to stabilize value; when opportunities arise, I can easily switch back to attack. It’s like a "ballast" in my account that allows me to take risks and also to take profits.
#USDD以稳见信 is not just a slogan. In DeFi, riding the waves, you need this kind of stable fundamental asset.
The transparent collateral and decentralized maintenance mechanism of USDD make me feel secure — after all, in this circle, trust is the longest-lasting leverage.
The trading competition is coming to an end, but the real long-term investment journey has just begun. Winning for a while relies on luck, but winning for a lifetime relies on a combination of strategy and tools.
Make good use of volatility, and also make good use of stability. Let’s encourage each other.
