What does the flame next to an asset on Binance mean?
In Binance, the flame that appears next to an asset indicates that the token is trending. It's not magic, nor a buy signal. It's simply a marker of heightened attention within the platform in real time.
What triggers it? A sudden increase in trading volume, searches, or user interaction. In short: a lot of people are trading it at the same time. Binance highlights it to show what is “hot” at that moment, as often happens with volatile assets.
The important thing: Trend does not mean a sure opportunity. An asset on fire often comes with extreme volatility and rapid movements. This can lead to equally fast gains or liquidations if you lack experience. The flame is useful as a radar, but not as a compass. It helps to detect where the focus is, but never replaces your own technical analysis or risk management.
In crypto, hype moves faster than fundamentals. Seeing a flame tells you where to look; entering without a clear plan tells you where to lose. The market always rewards a cool head.
Knowing this. Do you often research an asset just because it appears with the trending flame?
