ALTCOINS ARE AT A WEAK LEVEL IN HISTORY
If we look at the big picture, I see that only about 3% of altcoins on Binance are still above the MA200. This is not a typical correction, but rather a strong shakeout – a very rare state in history.
Since the beginning of October, the market capitalization of altcoins (excluding $BTC and stablecoins) has decreased by about 36%. If I also exclude the top 10, the rest of the market has evaporated nearly 46% in just a few months. Liquidity at this point is no longer circulating among narratives, but is withdrawing from the market.
In my opinion, this is not a story of "arriving late to altseason," but rather capital is shrinking and shifting to a defensive stance. Ironically, contexts like this in history often occur near opportunity zones, rather than close to euphoric peaks.
I do not expect the market to reverse immediately. This phase may last, but when liquidity and participation levels have depleted to extremes, the next regime change, if it occurs, usually carries significant meaning, and history rarely overlooks signals like this.
