On December 22, BNB Chain announced that they have received support from the prediction market platform Kalshi.

In other words, users can directly use the BNB and stablecoins they hold on BSC to trade the outcomes of real-world events.

This sounds a bit fresh, but it's actually just moving the act of 'guessing things' onto the blockchain, without needing to cross the chain bridge or manually switch networks.

Kalshi was originally a globally active and liquid prediction market, and now with the connection to BSC, it means BSC users can step in easily, with speed and fewer steps.

For those playing on BSC, this is quite a practical convenience—previously, if you wanted to go to such a platform, you might have to cross chains, switch wallets, adjust networks, and worry about making mistakes with a bunch of operations. Now, you can just deposit BNB or stablecoins on BSC for instant trading.

There are two specific situations: for Kalshi accounts within the United States, you can directly deposit and withdraw native BNB and USDT on BSC.

International accounts can use associated trading platforms to access BNB, USDT, and USDC on BSC.

In simple terms, it eliminates those cumbersome steps, making the path to asset appreciation more direct.

You may have heard of prediction markets, which essentially involve people betting real money on whether a certain event will happen, such as the outcome of an election, the implementation of a policy, or even the results of a sports match.

This way of playing is very similar to many short-term trades in the crypto world—relying on information and judgment to see results in a short time. The difference is that its targets are real-world events, not just the rise and fall of coin prices.

Kalshi connecting to BSC is actually seamlessly integrating this way of playing into the daily lives of on-chain users. Many people already hold BNB or stablecoins, kept in their wallets, not necessarily trading every day; now there is a new place to go—using them to participate in predictions and cashing out directly if they win.

For those who like to try new things but don't want to frequently cross chains, this is a very considerate entry point.

I actually think the sincerity of this matter lies in 'going with the flow.' Going with the flow means not forcing you to change your asset storage habits for a new way of playing, not compelling you to learn a bunch of cross-chain operations, but simply adding a feature in an environment you are familiar with.

In the crypto world, innovation is often good, but if the threshold is too high, most people can only watch the excitement. Now BSC users have an additional low-threshold entry, which is key to retaining users.

Of course, prediction markets have wins and losses, and are fundamentally still risk trades. But being able to participate directly on a chain you often use enhances the experience and will encourage more people to give it a try.

This is also what I've always said, that what truly retains users is not how flashy the concept is, but whether it's easy to use and the threshold is low enough.
