8 hours ago, AAVE founder Stani Kulechov withdrew 1,699 ETH from the Kraken exchange, worth approximately 5.17 million USD, and then exchanged it on-chain for 32,660 AAVE, with a corresponding purchase cost of about 158.3 USD per coin.

It is worth noting that just last week, Stani also bought 51,373 AAVE for about 9.67 million USD, with an average transaction price of about 188 USD. Combining these two transactions, he has now accumulated a total of 84,033 AAVE, with an overall cost of about 176.6 USD per coin, and a total purchase value of about 14.84 million USD.

At current prices, this portion of holdings is estimated to have an unrealized loss of about 2.23 million USD, with a loss margin of approximately 15.6%. Nevertheless, as the project's founder, choosing to continue increasing holdings during the decline is still seen by some market participants as a demonstration of confidence in the long-term value of AAVE.

However, the background of this round of decline cannot be ignored. Recently, Aave Labs unilaterally pushed for a proposal related to brand rights to enter the voting stage, triggering strong internal opposition within the community, and governance disputes quickly escalated. Meanwhile, some whale addresses chose to significantly reduce their positions during sensitive time windows, further amplifying market panic, ultimately leading to a rapid decline in AAVE prices.

With governance differences not yet fully digested and capital games still ongoing, AAVE's short-term trend remains highly uncertain, and the subsequent direction of community consensus and core capital movements will continue to be key variables of market concern.
