#falconfinance $FF
Recently, I have been looking into DeFi infrastructure, and Falcon Finance has left a strong impression on me; I even think it seems a bit 'clumsy' in this current space.
Everyone is probably used to various 'wealth codes' that double your money at a moment's notice, but Falcon doesn't talk about any of those illusions. Its logic is very straightforward: it generates synthetic dollars USDf through over-collateralization. What makes me feel most reassured is that it openly discusses the sources of income (arbitrage, funding rates, etc.) without engaging in that 'first come, first served' black box trickery.
To be honest, this kind of design may not be as eye-catching as those high-yield projects during a market boom. But after experiencing several rounds of volatility, I actually value this transparency even more—at least you know how the money is made, and this kind of 'restraint' is quite rare nowadays.
Of course, as long as it is a DeFi protocol, there are always technical risks and contract risks; there is no absolute 'lying flat with no risk'.
I am not making any recommendations; I just feel that such projects that are willing to slowly refine their underlying logic and aim for the long term are worth keeping on the observation list for a while.
In this space, sometimes moving steadily is really more important than moving quickly.
