As of 9:20 AM on December 24, the quotes of the two largest cryptocurrencies lost more than 3% and 4% in percentage terms, falling below $87.5 thousand and $2.95 thousand, respectively. The total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies dropped below $3 trillion. Crypto assets have been around these levels since December 15, showing insignificant temporary increases or decreases in prices.
