The Santa Claus Rally is once again a topic of conversation.

Historically, the last week of December often turns out to be a positive phase for the S&P 500. But in fact, in the last 2 years, this pattern has failed.

Interestingly: in 75 years of data, there has never been an instance of the Santa Rally failing for 3 consecutive years.

Statistics are not certainties, but patterns like this usually get the market to pay attention.
