VanEck: Bitcoin is expected to become the 'best-performing asset' in 2026
David Schassler, head of multi-asset solutions at VanEck, predicts that as investor demand for hard assets increases, gold and bitcoin will make a strong rebound in 2026. Although bitcoin's performance this year has not matched that of gold and the Nasdaq 100 index, Schassler believes that with the intensification of currency devaluation and a recovery in liquidity, bitcoin is expected to see a strong rebound. Schassler expects that bitcoin's weakness this year reflects a decline in risk appetite and tight liquidity, but the fundamentals of bitcoin remain strong, and it is expected to become the 'best-performing asset' in 2026 in the future.
