U.S. BTC/ETH spot ETFs simultaneously face a chill with a total net outflow exceeding $280 million in a single day.

On December 23, the U.S. cryptocurrency spot ETF market experienced a wave of fund withdrawals.

Both BTC and ETH spot ETFs recorded net outflows, with a total net outflow of $284 million in a single day, and market sentiment appeared slightly cautious.

Specifically, the fund outflow trend for BTC spot ETFs was more pronounced.

According to SoSovalue data, all 12 BTC spot ETFs in the U.S. were in the red that day, with none achieving net inflows.

The total net outflow approached $189 million for the day, marking the fourth consecutive trading day of net outflows for this sector.

Leading products became the main force behind the outflows, with BlackRock's IBIT topping the list with a net outflow of $157 million (approximately 1,790 BTC).

Despite the obvious short-term fund withdrawals, IBIT's cumulative net inflow still reached $62.34 billion.

Fidelity's FBTC and Grayscale's GBTC followed closely, recording net outflows of $15.3 million (174.27 BTC) and $10.28 million (117.06 BTC), respectively.

On the same day, Ethereum spot ETFs also did not escape unscathed, encountering the first net outflow day of the week.

All 9 ETH spot ETFs similarly faced losses, with none achieving net inflows, resulting in a total net outflow of $95.53 million.

Grayscale's ETHE became the outflow king of the ETH ETF sector, with a single-day net outflow of $50.89 million (approximately 17,200 ETH), and its cumulative net inflow currently stands at $5.05 billion.

BlackRock's ETHA followed closely with a net outflow of $25.04 million (8,460 ETH) that day, while its cumulative net inflow reached $12.65 billion.

Additionally, Bitwise ETHW and Franklin EZET recorded single-day net outflows of $13.98 million (4,730 ETH) and $5.61 million (1,900 ETH), respectively.

Currently, the total net asset value of U.S. Ethereum spot ETFs is $18.02 billion, accounting for 5.03% of Ethereum's total market cap, with a cumulative total net inflow of $12.43 billion.
