An F-35 fighter jet shot down an Iranian Shahed drone that was “aggressively” flying toward the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, — Reuters reports.

The incident occurred in the Arabian Sea, at a time when the carrier was located approximately 800 km off Iran’s southern coast.
