everyone thinks they can swing trade the local tops of $btc, but actually, trying to time this market is how you get left behind.
most of us end up panic selling the dip only to fomo back in higher, bleeding our stacks while spot holders just chill. it is a brutal cycle that wrecks your capital and your mental health.
let's look at the actual data because the math is wild. if you analyze the historical performance of $btc over the last decade, missing just the 10 best trading days would have cut your total returns by more than half. ser, that is the difference between actual generational wealth and just breaking even.
we see the same thing happen with $eth and other major caps. traders sell thinking they will buy back 5% cheaper, only for the market to pump 20% overnight while they are asleep. volatility is just the price of admission, and trying to dodge it usually means you miss the elevator up.

look at the winklevoss case. since 2015 they’ve made around $1.7b from bitcoin, and they’re still sitting on more than $300m worth of $BTC today. that means they didn’t just trade the volatility. they held through multiple brutal drawdowns while everyone else tried to outsmart the market.
the lesson isn’t that every coin deserves diamond hands. plenty of bags go to zero. but when people treat something like $BTC the same way they treat short-term trades in $ETH or random alts, they often sell the strongest asset too early and spend years trying to buy it back higher.

说实话这周我啥都没干。
BTC从57809跌到57.8K的时候，群里一堆人喊破位了、跑路吧、这下要去55K了。我看了一眼我的现货仓位，默默关掉手机去睡觉了。
结果今天早上醒来，BTC 60285。
没错，啥都没做，账面上多了几个点的浮盈。如果说我做了什么操作，那就是——什么都没操作。
