I am talking about Bitlayer (BTR), which is a Bitcoin Layer-2 project. Currently the price is hovering between $0.029 and $0.030. A little down in 24 hours (like -3% to -5%), but performing well on the week. Market cap around $9-10 million, rank in the 1000+ range. Volume is also good, trading is active. Bitrue Coin (BTR) is different, it is an exchange token, price is much lower (~$0.012).
What will happen in the future? Bitlayer has potential as a Bitcoin L2 project. BTCFi is working on smart contracts, scalability. Predictions from a few sites say it could go up to $0.07-0.08 by 2027 if the market remains bullish and the project delivers. Some say it looks better in the long term (2030). But you know crypto — there’s a lot of risk. ATH was around $0.24, and it’s much lower than that now.
My point: DYOR without hype. L2s will rise with Bitcoin's growth, but invest based on project updates, adoption, and market sentiment. Holding can yield good returns in the long term, but it is volatile in the short term.
