๐จ Global liquidity is exploding again.
The global money supply has reached a new all-time high of $121.9 trillion, after a massive surge of:
๐ +$17.1 trillion in just two years
๐ +$27 trillion since the 2022 bottom
This means that the global money supply is now growing at a rate of between 7% and 8% annually. ๐ต
In the United States as well, the M2 money supply rose by $1 trillion year-over-year to a record $22.7 trillion.
โ ๏ธ Historically, when money printing and liquidity accelerate like this, risk assets such as:
โฟ Bitcoin
๐ stocks
๐ฅ gold
start to benefit from the new cash flows.
However, on the flip side, this could also mean:
โช๏ธ Greater inflationary pressures
โช๏ธ Weaker purchasing power of currencies
โช๏ธ And a greater reliance on monetary policy to support the economy
The question now is:
Will this new liquidity wave push the markets to new all-time highsโฆ or will it bring inflation back with a vengeance? ๐
