If there is plenty of liquidity, you can sell quickly and at a good price. If there isn’t much, you may have problems exiting a position.

📌 WHAT IS LIQUIDITY?
It’s the number of buy and sell orders there are for an asset.
In a liquid market, there are many buyers and sellers. In an illiquid one, there are almost none.
Example: Bitcoin has high liquidity. A new meme coin has low liquidity.

- You can buy and sell quickly.
- The price doesn’t crash when you sell.
- Fees are usually lower.
- It’s harder for your price to be manipulated.

- Due to daily trading volume: the higher, the better.
- For the order book depth: how many orders are near the current price.
- For the spread: the difference between the best buy price and the sell price. Lower spread = higher liquidity.
