How to Delete My Binance Account?

You can delete your Binance account on the Binance website or app. 

Important Notes: 

  • Please note that account deletion is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you won’t be able to access it or view any transaction history or data.
  • Before deleting the account, please make sure that you don’t have any pending deposit (both fiat and crypto) transactions
  • Before deleting the account, please make sure that all of your withdrawal transactions (both fiat and crypto)  were confirmed and well received at the counter-parties account. 

On the Binance App:

1. Log into your Binance App and go to [Account Center]. Tap the Profile Center icon on the top.

2. Go to [Security]. Scroll down to [Manage Account].

3. Tap [Delete Account].

4. Choose a reason for the deletion.

5. Read the terms and conditions carefully and tap [Accept & Continue].

6. If there are still assets remaining in your account worth more than 5 USD, you must press “Cancel” and withdraw the assets in your account first.

If you have assets equivalent to less than 5 USD, you can delete your Binance account without withdrawing, but the assets will be lost and cannot be restored. If you agree, check the box and press [Delete Account].

7. Complete security verification.

8. After performing as above, your account has been successfully deleted and you can see the confirmation on your screen.

Handling of Personal Data upon Deletion of a Binance Account

While the account can be deleted as requested, please be informed that Binance is legally obliged to retain certain sets of your personal data for such a period of time after your account deletion as may be (i) required by the applicable laws, such as Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Laws, or (ii) necessary for the exercise of our rights in disputes or claims in relation to any future litigation. Your personal data will be deleted as soon as the mandatory retention period stipulated under the applicable laws expire.
