So, what is Withdraw Protection?
Withdraw Protection is a security feature that temporarily locks all crypto withdrawals from your Binance account for a period you choose, from 1 up to 7 days.During that time, nobody can withdraw your funds, not hackers, not scammers, and not even you.
And that’s the whole point.
This feature is specially designed for extreme situations where normal security methods like passwords or 2FA may not be enough.
How does it work?
Once activated, your Binance account enters a “withdraw lockdown” mode.

But on-chain withdrawals become completely blocked until the timer ends.
The default protection window is 48 hours, but users can customize it between 1 and 7 days depending on their comfort level.

He pasado el susto mas grande con mi cuenta de binance recientemente! Y por un mal entendido y a su vez por error conectarme a dispositivos StarLink !!
Si eres venezolano, y tienes un dispositivo StarLink el mismo puede venir configurado o con cuenta de estados unidos, Colombia o México!
El problema radica cuando compras y activas una cuenta de estados unidos, ya que tu IP será de ese país!
Y al conectarte inocentemente puedes perder tu cuenta de Binance especialmente!
En las normas de Binance esta PROHIBIDO para estados unidos por ende conectarse desde un IP americano puede inducir que estas violando las normas asi estes viviendo en Venezuela
Así que revisa antes tu IP de tu dispositivo antes de conectarte a binance si lo haces desde un StarLink
No obstante, algunos proveedores de Internet en Venezuela trabajan con IP gringo, por ejemplo QXN ese proveedor de Internet usa Internet de estados unidos aun así estando en Venezuela
MI EXPERIENCIA
Inocentemente me conecte a mi red WiFi doméstica que tengo con el proveedor QXN en Venezuela, el posee dirección IP americana y aun así no abriendo la app de binance estando en 2do plano igual me afecto!
Inmediatamente busqué alternativas para cambiar el IP gringo por una región admitida en Binance.
El problema llegó, binance restringió mi cuenta y me pidió llenar formulario sobre ese evento de que estaba accediendo desde ubicación prohibidas ! Explique mi situación y aun así la cuenta fue restringida!
La Solucion a mi Problema
Contacte Atención al Cliente, en donde me ayudaron de la forma mas eficiente posible ! Les EXPLIQUE el mal entendido que ocurrió y buscaron la forma de ayudarme a desbloquear mi cuenta de Binance para tradear, depositar y retirar!
Verifique mi dirección de residencia y gracias a dios pude solucionar este problema !

Porque Hago un Post sobre esto ?
En Venezuela es muy común ver un vehículo un carro con antena StarLink, es un sinónimo de estatus social en nuestra cultura actualmente .

Ojo la seguridad depende de como almacenes o tengas tu Frase Semilla, si la pierdes , adiós luz qué te apagaste (ese es el riesgo)
