See here, RPL produced a downtrend, lower highs and lower lows, from April 2023 through October-December 2025. A full blown bearish cycle. It is possible to see higher highs and higher lows in 2026 and beyond, while some projects will not do good. It will be interesting to see how it all develops.

Just as the market never produces back-to-back bullish cycles, the same goes for the bearish cycle. Since we have a full bearish cycle on this chart, a bullish cycle can easily show up next regardless of Bitcoin and the rest of the market. This dynamic already played out on hundreds of projects in the last few years.

Back in the days, when there was just a few dozens altcoins in the market available for trading, the entire cycle would only last a few months. Say, after 3 months we would get a bullish wave. Over time, the waiting period between each bullish wave became 6 months and the market continued to grow. Every six months we had a bullish wave and this was the norm for several years. Then it was 8 months, then 10 months and so on... We are seeing some projects now not moving for years. That's how long it takes for capital to reach different sectors of the market because the market is now so big.

The highest volume ever recently is a positive signal. Also the fact that the low December 2025 is a higher low compared to October 2025.

A bullish wave here can last several months. There will be strong variations between projects/charts as the market continues to grow and evolve. Instead of 3-5 groups, we will have hundreds of variations. It will seen like the market moves at random, but it doesn't. There is a pattern and a sequence as to how the energy flows.
