#newt $NEWT I keep thinking about how Newton quietly changes the way people think about trust... At first, I assumed the technology itself would be the interesting part. Instead, I found myself paying more attention to my own reactions whenever a process was handled by predefined rules rather than someone's decision.
It's a subtle shift. When something doesn't happen exactly as expected, the first instinct is often to assume a mistake was made by a person. But with Newton, I catch myself asking a different question: Was the rule working as intended, or am I misunderstanding the process?..
That difference feels small, yet it changes how I evaluate what I'm seeing. Trust gradually moves away from individuals and toward whether the system behaves consistently under the same conditions. Consistency becomes more important than speed, and predictability matters more than appearances.
I'm not convinced that transition is easy. People naturally look for someone to credit or blame. Learning to trust transparent rules instead of individual decisions may take longer than the technology itself. That's the part of Newton I find myself watching most closely, because changing behavior often turns out to be harder than changing software.
