Friends, many of you have been asking, so let me explain it briefly and in my own words. If you jump in without knowing the difference, you’ll get burned — I did, don’t make the same mistake.

What is Spot?

You simply buy and sell.

For example, you spend $100 to buy 1 SOL. If the price doubles, it becomes $200. If you don’t sell it, your money doesn’t disappear (of course, SOL can drop, but it won’t go to zero).

It’s ideal for beginners. That’s where I started too.

What is Futures?

Things get intense here! With 10x leverage, your $100 can act like $1,000. In one minute, you could have $200 — or $0!

My biggest mistake? I once went in with 20x and lost $500 in 5 minutes.

My strategy:

1. First, get experience with Spot.

2. When switching to Futures, don’t go over 3x–5x.

3. Always use a Stop-Loss! (I didn’t… and I regret it.)

Futures isn’t gambling — but if you enter without knowledge, it turns into gambling.

Don’t trip over the same stones I did.
