Assuming the threshold for the game is 530,000, and you have only farmed 67,000 over 8 days. Just enough to make the leaderboard, earning 18 points per day, with a wear of 0.02, the cost is 67 * 8 * 2 = 107.2u. If we assume the airdrop is valued between 60-65u, then you are losing between 42.5u and 47.5u.
Now, if we assume another airdrop is between 30-50u, then you are losing 17.5u or making a small profit of 7.5u. At this point, after deducting 15 points, your score is actually the same as someone who earns 16 points daily.
In this parallel universe, you are farming 16,000 from koge daily, which also means you are earning 16 points each day, costing 1.6 * 8 * 2 = 25.6u.
Comparing the two, the earnings are actually quite similar. If the game cannot achieve a wear of 0.02, or if you have farmed 130,000 for 4 consecutive days, your score would only be 3 points more than someone earning 16 points daily, accumulating 12 points over 4 days, and still not qualifying for a single airdrop. Another scenario is if you over-farm and reach 600,000, then the cost would increase by another 16u. All three of these situations are not better than farming 16 points from koge.
For those in these situations, I have already calculated the numbers for you. Even accounting for competition refunds and an additional airdrop, you are still better off diligently farming 16 points from koge and cutting your losses in a timely manner.
