The U.S. Department of Labor has just announced that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for August increased by 0.4%, after a slight rise of 0.2% in July. This is also the strongest month-over-month increase since January, according to Reuters.
In the last 12 months (up to August), the U.S. CPI has risen by 2.9%, higher than the 2.7% in July. Previously, economists had forecasted that the CPI would increase by an additional 0.3% in August and rise by 2.9% compared to the same period last year.$ETH $BNB
