I don't understand the relationship between the x402 protocol and Ping. How did it become a meme?

What is ping? The ping official website directly informs users of a specific blockchain address, and users pay USDC to the specified address. This transaction is just a regular transfer on the Base chain. However, x402scan (an indexer created by ping) scans these transactions and records and distributes tokens to your account in an off-chain database according to the rule "1 USDC = 5,000 PING." The centralized indexer that gives this transfer the meaning of "minting $PING" scans on-chain transactions and keeps accounts for users in the off-chain database according to its own rules.

Isn't this indexer something even elementary school students can do?

What is the relationship between this and the x402 protocol? Where does AI and payment come into play? Is there any similarity in the entire minting process with the x402 protocol?

This x402scan indexer is defined by ping itself and has nothing to do with the x402 protocol, just borrowed the name.

An indexer is not an official component of the x402 protocol! So how did ping become a meme of the protocol? Just because the names are similar?

Also, don’t compare Ping with inscriptions; inscriptions have uniqueness, what does your ping have?

The KOLs who keep promoting ping are either too stupid to understand completely or too bad to have taken many chips.

There is no denying that. After all, the consensus of idiots is still a consensus. #x402 #ping
