A resident of Kharkiv bought a child for cryptocurrency to leave the country In the Vinnytsia region, a 35-year-old resident of the Kharkiv region was detained while attempting to illegally leave the country by pretending to be a father of many children, reported the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The man was stopped at the "Mohyliv-Podilskyi" checkpoint. "To confirm his status at the passport control, the man presented birth certificates for three children. Two of them were without objections, while the third, allegedly issued in Poland, raised doubts. During the verification, it turned out that the document did not correspond to established templates. As a result, the 'father' admitted: he bought the certificate for 4000 USDT (Tether – a cryptocurrency token), transferring funds to the cryptocurrency account of an unknown person," border guards determined. The man was denied passage through the state border. Border officers informed the National Police about the detection of signs of a criminal offense, as provided in Article 358 of the Criminal Code "Forgery of documents, seals, stamps, and forms, trading or using forged documents, seals, stamps."
