Kimanin 2.5% of the world's population speaks the language 👉(Hausa).
But only a few among us conduct our affairs in the language 👉 Hausa. Why is that?
Among the reasons I will list, at least one of the two must be true👇👇
.We do not care about our community
.Or we feel ashamed to express it
.We do not aspire to advance ourselves and our community
.Or we believe our language does not measure up to global standards.
So if this is our mindset, then you and I, as readers, should not underestimate the role our Hausa language plays in the matters we observe.🧏
It is important for us to recognize that all the countries we see have progressed because they have taken their languages seriously as a means to engage with both old and new developments that have emerged, even if those developments were borrowed from elsewhere.
It is good to remember that the kind of contribution you make to the world community will inspire your peers to make use of their own.
