$BTC After 17 years of blood, sweat, and memes, Bitcoin has finally done it — $100,000.
As I write this on December 4, 2025, BTC is trading at $101,800 with the entire market painted in green. The king is back on the throne, but the real question everyone is asking in the comments: “Is this the top… or just the beginning?”
Here’s what I see coming in the next 12–18 months:
The ETF Effect Is Still Warming Up
Spot Bitcoin ETFs have already sucked in $110 billion+ in 2025 alone (BlackRock & Fidelity leading the charge). But we’re still waiting for the big wave: pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and corporate treasuries that only rebalance in Q1–Q2 every year. Expect another $150–200 billion inflow in 2026.
The Halving Cycle Is Not Dead
We are only 19 months post-2024 halving. Historically, the real parabolic move starts 12–18 months after halving. 2017 and 2021 followed the exact same script. If history rhymes, $150K–$180K by late 2026 is very reasonable.
Nation-State & Corporate Adoption Accelerating
El Salvador now holds 5,900+ BTC and is profitable again
Bhutan quietly mined another 8,000 BTC this year with hydro power
Rumors say two more Latin American countries announce reserves in Q1 2026

When countries start racing, the price only goes one direction.
Altcoins Will Wake Up — But Not All
Once BTC dominance drops below 52% (it’s 58% right now), capital will rotate hard into ETH, SOL, and quality Layer-1s. My personal bags for the next leg: ETH, SOL, SUI, and yes… still some meme coins with real communities.
My 2026 Price Targets (not financial advice, just my notes):
BTC: $160,000 – $180,000 (base case)
ETH: $8,500 – $10,000
SOL: $450 – $600
Final Thought
Every cycle people say “this time is different” when we hit new all-time highs. Then the market proves them wrong by going 3–5× higher than anyone thought possible.
$100K was never the finish line.
It was the starting gun.
