December is an unpredictable month for Bitcoin. Although its historical average performance hovers around 8.42%, the median performance is just 1.69%. Meanwhile, the last month of 2025 started with a 5% drop in BTC's price.

In the last four years, three December closures have been negative, which diminishes the weight of seasonal optimism. November reinforced that caution. Instead of the typically bullish behavior of the month, BTC ended with more than 17% of a pullback.

This context also affected ETFs, which closed November with net outflows close to 3.48 billion dollars according to data from SoSoValue, marking one of the weakest months since 2024.
