Why Is My Balance "Not Available" on Binance?.
This is a common message that generates confusion: you see money in your funding balance, but a portion is marked "not available". This means that your funds are in a state of temporary hold for security, verification, or a pending operation.
The system does this to prevent those funds from being moved before the transaction is fully completed.
If you deposited USDT or received a payment via P2P, the system may hold the amount until the transfer is fully verified and considered legitimate.
This protects both parties.
It can also happen if you are using special functions:
Open Orders:
Funds reserved for a spot order that has not yet been executed.
Locks/Earn:
Funds immobilized in staking or Earn products.
Verification (KYC):
In certain cases, funds may be frozen until the identification process is approved.
Check if there is a recent ongoing P2P deposit or purchase.
Review your spot or Earn order history.
If everything seems fine and the hold persists, contact support.
Did you know that the "not available" balance in P2P serves to protect you from fraud?.
