Today's Binance Alpha Outlook: Has the number of employees decreased by another 30,000?
Finally, it's the weekend! I hope we can catch a surprise airdrop today!
It's really a mystery how many people are still playing Alpha lately. I estimated that the number of effective participants is about 200,000.
I sold the airdrop I received yesterday for 44U, which gives me a bit more confidence to withstand risks! The airdrops have been continuous for the past ten days, and today there's a high probability of another surprise — just that the timing is unpredictable. In the past, weekends often had drops at 4 PM, and last week there were also cases at 8 PM and 9 PM. Just wait for it; it’s usually around 30U each time.
Currently, the rewards from staking are indeed low, but for those who are still holding on, the gamble is that future activities will be better than now. I don’t have any grand plans at the moment; I just take profits when I can! Staking was originally meant to earn some steady money. With the low yields now and not much room for maneuvering, securing profits is the most practical approach. 44U is enough to cover my expenses for over half a month, and anything extra is pure profit!
Let’s do some calculations: There haven't been many consumption projects in the past half month, and there's no TGE. Airdrops have a total of about 480,000 distributed. If we assume an average of 2.5 airdrops per person, that corresponds to 200,000 people. Moreover, in the last four days, only about 20,000 airdrops have been issued daily. In the first five minutes, you can freely claim, but it will lower your score — looking at it this way, the actual number of effective claimants must be less than 200,000, unless someone decides not to claim if it's below 50U, in which case that's another story.
By the way, there has been a lot of flu lately. Remember to wear a mask when taking your family to crowded places on the weekend; getting infected is really uncomfortable!
