BREAKING: Total consumer credit surged +$9.2 billion in October, to a record $5.08 trillion. Revolving credit, which includes credit cards, jumped +$5.4 billion, to $1.32 trillion, the highest since November 2024. By comparison, the average monthly increase seen from 2021 through 2024 was +$8.7 billion. Non-revolving credit, mainly auto and student loans, rose +$3.8 billion, to a record $3.77 trillion. Total consumer credit has now soared +$994 billion since the 2020 pandemic. Meanwhile, the average credit card interest rate remains near its all-time high of 22.8%, despite the Fed cutting rates by -1.50 percentage points since September 2024. Americans are "fighting" inflation with more debt.

Tether’s diversification over the past couple of months says a lot. It makes it pretty clear the Bitcoin bubble has run its course and they’re gearing up for the cash-out and laundering phase. They’ve quietly stepped back from their usual BTC purchases and loaded up on Gold, now sitting on roughly $13B, plus heavy fiat reserves. At the same time, they’ve spread money across a string of new ventures: $925M into Rumble, giving them influence over crypto narratives and the ability to bury criticism. In an era of information warfare, owning a platform like that buys them friendly coverage and a clean revenue loop through ads and user data. They’ve also announced a $5B AI platform, invested €70M in humanoid robotics, taken a €1B stake in Neura Robotics, grabbed a controlling stake in Northern Data for AI infrastructure, and even added exposure through Adecoagro’s BTC mining. This is a push for control over AI infrastructure and a move toward building surveillance and data monopolies. We warned about this over a year ago. All of it positions Tether as a high-tech laundering funnel. They can push “excess reserves” into ventures that generate real returns while muddying where the original money came from. It’s their exit plan. And they’re trying to lock USDT into AI systems because automated transactions make it even easier to bury movement of funds inside endless machine-to-machine flows. If USDT becomes the default for that world, they gain a constant, opaque transaction layer disguised as “innovation.” When you zoom out, the pattern is the same: print an unbacked, unaudited fraud token out of thin air, use it to artificially prop up Bitcoin and anything else they can, then use the excess profits to lobby everyone from US lawmakers to El Salvador to major institutions to build a “narrative” for why it keeps going up. Keep the game alive, avoid suspicion, and ride the bubble until it inevitably pops. Then slip into a web of completely unrelated ventures that conveniently provide clean exits, laundering channels, and lifeboats.

The Ancient World's Greatest Building May Still Exist. No One Is Looking. In 450 BCE, Herodotus visited a structure in Egypt and declared it "more wonderful than the pyramids." 28,000 square meters. Larger than Karnak. 3,000 chambers. Stone roofs spanning distances that stunned ancient engineers. Then it vanished from history. For 130 years, archaeologists believed it was destroyed. Flinders Petrie excavated in 1888 and found only rubble. Case closed. The case was wrong. 2008: Egyptian and Belgian scientists deploy ground-penetrating radar. They detect a "grid structure of gigantic size" at 8 to 12 meters depth. Walls several meters thick. Near-closed chambers. 2010: Peer-reviewed study in Near Surface Geophysics confirms "elongated and square-shaped subsurface anomalies" consistent with walls and rooms. 2023: Satellite radar detects the same patterns. 2024: Electrical resistivity surveys confirm the anomalies independently. Four separate technologies. Four confirmations. One conclusion: substantial architecture survives beneath the sand. Why has no one excavated? The water table. Nineteenth-century irrigation raised groundwater above the monument. The entrance to the pharaoh's burial chamber is flooded to 6 meters. The Labyrinth sits underwater. Cost to definitively prove what survives: single-digit millions. The excavation is not happening. No funding consortium has formed. No permits are sought at scale. The structure that ancient visitors ranked above the pyramids slowly dissolves in saline groundwater while we debate whether it exists. This is civilizational choice made visible. We have the technology. Muon tomography mapped voids in the Great Pyramid in 2017. The same technique works here. We have the evidence. Four independent surveys across sixteen years. We lack the will. The Labyrinth waited 3,850 years. It may not wait much longer.

$ETH is looking very strong here. ETH/BTC, as I said a few days ago, is the most bullish and clean looking chart around. And when we chart it against BTC.D, it becomes very clear what stage of the cycle we are in. This is why I simply cannot understand the bears here. I want someone, anyone who is macro bearish, to come on this post and tell me why this is bearish for the market? ETH/BTC being bullish is still bullish for Bitcoin anyway. $ETH only truly outperforms at BTC takes it last and explosive leg to the upside. This chart does not mean BTC doesn't go higher... it just means $ETH moves higher faster. And this is because $ETH and altcoins have always favoured truly when liquidity conditions ease... and that is now where we are. Is it just a coincidence then that these charts look exactly the same, heading into much easier liquidity conditions? No. And it doesn't matter about whether stablecoins are included in BTC.D. I see many BTC maxis parroting this. Were stables not included back in 2020 and 2021 then? And in any case, there is no strong path forward for BTC.D with or without stables included, when ETH/BTC is this strong. It is painfully clear to anyone who knows how to look at a chart, what ETH/BTC is telling us. Anyone fighting it at this stage is just being ignorant.
