MY CRAZIEST CRYPTO LESSON: ADA 2017
In 2017, I bought $ADA
at $0.03. Three months later, it hit $1.20 — my account was up nearly 40x. Every morning, I checked how many zeros I had, dreaming of a Porsche… but I didn’t sell.
Then ADA crashed to $0.20. 80% of my profit vanished. The Porsche? Became a second-hand BYD. That’s when I learned: in crypto, buyers are learners, sellers are masters.
Here’s my strategy now:
Take-Profit: Tiered selling. Sell 30% on the first major rise, another 30% on the next, and set a trailing take-profit on the rest. This way, you ride the trend without stress.
Stop-Loss: Never risk more than 5% per trade. I always place conditional orders immediately after buying — like buckling your seatbelt.
