The Brazilian Association of Financial and Capital Markets Entities (Anbima) announced that it has signed an agreement with EFPA Spain (Spanish Association of Wealth Advisors) so that, starting in 2026, professional certifications will be officially recognized in Spanish territory and vice versa. The certificates issued by EFPA allow operation throughout the European Union.

The first equivalence under the agreement will be between the CPA certification (Anbima Professional Certification) and the EIP (European Investment Professional), according to the Association. The mutual recognition will take effect at the beginning of 2026, when the new certification structure of Anbima aimed at the distribution of financial products comes into force.

More than 410 thousand Brazilian professionals certified by Anbima will be able to benefit from international recognition. To obtain the EIP, a supplementary training on aspects of the Spanish market will be required. The agreement also establishes that certified professionals in Spain can operate in Brazil, provided they also complete a supplementary course on the functioning of the national distribution market, which will be offered by Anbima#BTC86kJPShock $BNB $XRP
