Acting President Pham announces the first spot trading of cryptocurrencies listed on regulated exchanges in the U.S.

Acting Chair of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Caroline D. Pham, announced today that cryptocurrency products listed for spot trading will begin trading for the first time on federally regulated markets in the U.S., on futures exchanges registered with the CFTC. The announcement represents a significant advancement in the Trump administration's promise to usher in a Golden Age of Innovation and make the United States the "world capital of cryptocurrencies."
