Watching the market, analyzing candlesticks, observing chips, and guessing the main force's rhythm—results piled up day after day.
Today I’m sharing the six core experiences; if you remember just one, it can save you a lot.
First, a quick rise and a slow drop is mostly just washing the market.
That kind of straight-line surge with a drawn-out pullback shouldn't scare you off. The main force is just clearing chips. The real peak is often followed by a sudden plunge after a volume spike.
Second, after a sharp drop, a weak rebound means don’t think about catching the bottom.
A harsh drop and a weak rebound mean funds are retreating. When you see that kind of small, staggered weak rebound, don't hold on to any illusions; there’s a 90% chance it's a downward continuation.
Third, high volume at a high point isn’t necessarily bad; low volume at a high point is dangerous.
If the top is continuously high in volume, it indicates funds are still engaged; but if the volume suddenly drops off, that usually means the main force has exited.
Fourth, don’t get too excited about a sudden spike in volume at a bottom.
A day of high volume doesn’t signify much; often, it's just a trap. Only when there’s a “continuous spike in volume” in the bottom range is it truly building positions.
Fifth, volume is the market's emotional thermometer.
Candlesticks are just the performance; volume is the logic. If volume decreases, no one is active; if volume increases, funds are moving. Keep an eye on volume changes, and you’ll be able to see the direction earlier than others.
Sixth, and the hardest: no strategy is better than having a strategy.
If you can stay out, stay out; if you can strike, strike hard; don’t chase highs, don’t panic, and don’t click randomly out of itch. It seems simple, but very few can actually do it.
