Let's talk about the depreciation of the U. Actually, most of the time, the trend of the U follows the USD. (The USD hasn't really dropped much)
But there are also times when it deviates, because the U is more "free" than the USD, without central bank support, so it can briefly deviate due to supply and demand. A bit more expensive, a bit cheaper, is all very normal.
Recently, the U dropped below 7, essentially I believe it is due to one thing, there are more people selling U in the market, and the demand for capital outflow has increased. When combined with some emotions and minor events, it leads to temporary cheapness.
This is not a systemic issue, nor a long-term trend, but more of a volatility caused by short-term supply and demand. When the demand is high, the premium comes up. It's also a very normal fluctuation.
So I mentioned some time ago, don't convert all your CNY into U. The structure of cash allocation is very important, different pockets should hold different amounts of money, serving different functions and risks, combined together for greater stability.
After so many years of investment sharing. In fact, I increasingly dislike writing about any reasoning, in reality, I also don't want to say anything at all.
After all, people don't change because of 'reason', they only change because of 'consequences'.
No matter how many times others advise, it's not as impactful as a slap from reality. For example, in investment, relationships, health, career … Everyone truly changes only after they've suffered losses, paid prices, and seen the truth.
People talk about investment, logic, risk control, but they still rush, chase, and can't control their hands. Because they haven't experienced real pain.
Those who haven't bumped into it often can't comprehend.
But capable people can achieve: feel pain once, grow tenfold. What takes others five years of blood and tears, some might understand all at once.
Reason is never something you just understand; it's something you realize after being battered. (Pain) is the ticket to understanding.
Many reasons seem clear, until one day reality presses you down and rubs you on the ground…
Only then do you realize that what you thought you understood was actually shallow.
