Effective from 2026-05-16 00:00 (UTC), Binance will introduce Orderbook EWMA price index calculation mode on equity-based TradFi perpetual contracts to replace Fixed Mode during the daily maintenance period, weekends, and holidays.
Notes:
Orderbook EWMA price index calculation mode will be applied on all existing equity-based TradFi perpetual contracts and any new equity-based TradFi perpetual contracts to be listed on Binance Futures in the future.
