Opened a small $GENIUS position last week—mostly out of curiosity—after spending a few hours digging into Genius Yield’s routing system on Cardano. At first, I assumed the whole “Smart Order Router + EUTxO efficiency” narrative was just a technical flex that reads well in documentation but doesn’t translate into real-world usage.

What shifted my perspective a bit was their decision to open-source the Smart Order Router. That creates a very different incentive structure. If liquidity access becomes usable beyond their own frontend, they’re not simply competing for end users anymore—they’re positioning themselves as infrastructure that other apps might build on.

That said, I still think the biggest risk is the ecosystem itself. Advanced tooling doesn’t matter much if sustained trading activity never materializes. But I do like that V2 staking moved away from fixed APY and toward fee-sharing—it feels more transparent and aligned with actual usage.

My position is still tiny and I’m genuinely undecided, but this is one of the few Cardano projects where the architecture is starting to feel economically connected—not just technically impressive.

After eating 6% yesterday, I set a breakeven stop, but the triangle breakout followed by a pullback to the structure is still effective. The short-term structure remains relatively strong. As long as it does not fall back into the breakout range, I personally still lean towards the expectation of continued upward movement here.
