Aave community has officially approved the ARFC to move forward with Aave V4 deployment on Ethereum.
This isn’t just another upgrade — it’s a complete structural shift.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀:
• Security-first rollout → conservative risk parameters in the beginning
• Hub & Spoke architecture → shared liquidity + controlled environments
• Modular design → governance-defined risk per “branch”
At the core of V4:
→ A “Liquidity Hub” that aggregates capital
→ Multiple “Branches” that operate with isolated strategies
Initial structure includes:
• Core Hub
• Prime Hub
• Plus Hub
This setup allows Aave to scale without compromising risk management — something most DeFi protocols struggle with.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗦𝗲𝗲:
Aave is quietly moving toward becoming a full-stack liquidity layer, not just a lending protocol.
Support for assets like
$AAVE , GHO, wstETH, cbBTC, USDC, LINK, and even tokenized gold (XAUt) shows where this is heading — real-world + crypto liquidity in one system.
If execution matches the design, this could redefine how capital flows across DeFi.
Not hype — structure.
