Binance is moving fast today and you probably already see it. $GENIUSDT perpetuals just dropped with up to 20x leverage and $CHIP ($USD.AI) is already showing up in pre-market trading.
I’m keeping my eyes on $CHIP . It’s a lending protocol built around AI infrastructure, basically funding GPU and compute demand. And if you’ve been watching the market, you already know AI is still one of the strongest narratives right now.
But here is what I am not doing. I am not touching 20x leverage on $GENIUS in this kind of volatility. That is just unnecessary risk for me right now.
Instead, I would rather wait. If there is a listing dip, that is where I will be looking for a clean spot entry.

🔴 THREE REASONS TRADERS ARE LOSING MONEY ON THIS
1. THE FUNDING RATE BLEED
When a perpetual contract pumps this hard, funding rates spike — sometimes to 0.75%–2.5% per 8-hour cycle. If you are holding a leveraged long, you may be paying that fee three times a day. At 10x leverage, that can wipe 20%+ of your margin daily even if price goes sideways. Check your funding tab before you check your P&L.
2. THIN ORDER BOOK / SLIPPAGE TRAP
Look at the order book. The spread is extreme for a coin at this price. Market orders are filling at a significantly worse price than what you see on the chart. You see 8.26 — you get filled at 8.40. That slippage is an instant loss on entry. Limit orders only, or don't trade this at all.
3. MECHANICAL PUMP — NOT TREND
This move is being driven by short liquidations, not by genuine demand for the underlying asset. When the short fuel runs out, the reversal will be fast and vertical. RSI across all timeframes is deep in overbought territory. There is no floor support built yet — the price moved too fast to form one.
