China has unveiled the world's largest wind-powered ship propulsion system in Dalian, Liaoning Province, in northeastern China.

The system, measuring 5 meters in diameter and 35 meters in height, weighs 150 tons and efficiently harnesses wind power during navigation to provide additional propulsion for ships. This results in fuel savings of an average of 5% to 25%, thus reducing carbon emissions.
