Not a lot - 32 $BTC out of 843,706. That's 0.0038% of the stack. But the market didn't care about the math.
Within six hours:
→ $BTC dropped from $76K to $72.4K
→ IBIT bled $142M in outflows
→ Polymarket's "will Strategy ever sell" market resolved YES
The actual debate isn't about the size of the sale.
Two things worth thinking about:
Is this a controlled signal - a pre-planned, dividend-driven move that changes nothing about Strategy's long-term thesis?
Or does breaking the "never sell" vow once mean the door is now permanently open, and if so, how permanent are any corporate crypto treasuries really?
