I've been reading about OpenGradient lately, and honestly, i'm interested but still careful. We've seen plenty of AI and crypto projects make huge promises that never really turned into real adoption.
From what i understand, OpenGradient wants to build a decentralized network where AI models can be hosted, used for inference, and verified at scale. That idea actually makes sense to me because AI infrastructure probably shouldn't depend on only a few big companies.
Still, the concept alone isn't enough. The real challenge is whether developers will use it, whether it performs well, and whether it can grow beyond early excitement. That's the part i'm watching closely.
I'm not writing it off, but i'm not buying into hype either. If OpenGradient delivers useful tools and real adoption, it'll earn attention naturally. Until then, i'd rather stay curious than convinced.
For now, i'm following the progress, learning more, and waiting for real results instead of getting carried away by big announcements.
