Lately OPG feels like one of those projects where the technology narrative and the market reality are moving in completely different directions.

The recent airdrop distribution created exactly the kind of sell pressure most traders expected. Fresh supply entered the market, short-term holders took exits, and price reacted hard. That part honestly wasn’t surprising.

What keeps me watching, though, is that the project still seems focused on building actual usage instead of depending entirely on hype cycles. The Season 2 system pushing users to spend credits inside the native app at least creates some form of real engagement.

But I keep thinking about the bigger question here: does the market truly value verifiable AI infrastructure yet, or are most users still choosing speed, convenience, and cheaper centralized alternatives every single time?
