My take:
If you're asking from an investment angle, DOT is one of the older large-cap ecosystem coins, so it can move well in a strong alt cycle, but it has also underperformed versus hotter narratives in many phases.
If BTC dominance breaks down, DOT can definitely benefit, but I’d usually expect it to behave more like an older rotation coin than a fresh hype leader.
That means it may do well in altseason, but probably not be the first coin people chase unless narrative strength returns.
