Binance is launching a new trading campaign centered around the edgeX (EDGE) token, giving users an opportunity to compete for exclusive rewards through trading activity on Binance Alpha and Binance Wallet (Keyless).
The week-long competition will run from May 12, 2026, at 13:00 UTC through May 19, 2026, at 13:00 UTC. During the event, participants will be ranked based on the cumulative amount of EDGE tokens purchased through eligible platforms.
Under the campaign structure, the top 2,560 participants will share a reward pool totaling 76,800 EDGE tokens. Each qualifying user is expected to receive 30 EDGE tokens as part of the distribution.
A standout feature of the competition is Binance’s newly introduced “Early Bird Boost Multiplier,” designed to reward traders who enter the campaign early. The mechanism boosts effective trading volume depending on when trades are executed during the promotion period. Trades completed on the opening day will receive the highest multiplier at 4x, while the multiplier gradually declines throughout the event and reaches zero additional boost on the final day.
This system incentivizes sustained and early participation, potentially reshaping leaderboard dynamics as traders attempt to maximize weighted volume rather than raw purchase size alone.
According to the event guidelines, only purchases executed through Binance Wallet (Keyless) or Binance Alpha will count toward rankings. Sales of EDGE tokens will not contribute to cumulative totals, placing the focus entirely on buy-side activity.
To qualify, users must manually join the event through the Binance App before their trading volume becomes eligible for tracking. Any transactions completed prior to joining will not be counted toward the competition standings.
Reward distribution is scheduled before May 26, 2026, at 13:00 UTC. Eligible users will then have a 14-day window to claim their rewards before unclaimed tokens are forfeited.
