March just dropped a flood of new models — GPT-5.4, Gemini 3.1, Grok 4.20, plus a wave of smaller, faster variants.
1M+ context is becoming normal.
Agents can now use computers.
And mini/nano models are making scale cheaper than ever.
From what I’m noticing… this isn’t just “better AI.”
It feels like a shift from tools → autonomous systems.
But here’s where it gets interesting:
There’s no clear winner.
Some models dominate reasoning.
Some dominate speed.
Some dominate real-time accuracy.
Which means… the market isn’t consolidating yet — it’s fragmenting.
And historically, fragmentation phases don’t last forever.
Open end:
So the real question is — when one ecosystem finally pulls ahead… will it reshape everything overnight?
