Binancde has upgraded the Binance VIP Program to better match how you trade, invest, and engage in crypto — making VIP status more attainable than before! 👑
As of March 19–20, 2026, Binance overhauled its VIP Program to make it more accessible for active traders and long-term holders. Binance has essentially lowered the ladder, making it much easier to climb into the VIP ranks without needing whale-level volume right away.
Here’s the breakdown of what’s actually changed:
1. The VIP "Bar" Just Got Lower
The most helpful change is the massive drop in requirements for the first three tiers. If you’re trading Futures, the entry point for VIP 1 used to be $15M in monthly volume; now it’s just $5M.
Even better for BNB holders, the amount you need to hold has been slashed:
VIP 1: Only needs 5 BNB (down from 25).
VIP 2: Now requires 25 BNB instead of 100.
VIP 3: Dropped to 100 BNB from 250.
2. Welcome the "Rising Stars"⭐
Binance added a new middle-ground category called VIP Rising Star. It’s designed for people who are active but haven't quite hit the high-volume marks yet. If you keep around $30,000 in your account and hold at least 5 BNB, you get onto their radar for personalized support and "fast-track" invites. It’s basically a "VIP-in-training" status.
3. More Love for Holders 💪
If you’re more of a "buy and hold" investor than a high-frequency trader, the VIP Holder Program is now more flexible.
You can now reach all the way to VIP 9 just based on the value of your assets.
Binance has also made it so funds sitting in Binance Earn count toward your total, so you don't have to choose between earning interest and keeping your VIP status.
4. A Win for Affiliates
In the past, if you referred someone and they became a VIP, you’d often stop earning commissions on their trades. Now, you can keep earning from your referrals even after they hit VIP 1 and VIP 2 status. It’s a small tweak that makes a big difference for anyone building a community or network on the platform.
5. A Quick "Homecoming" Catch
If you were a VIP at any point last year but let it slip, keep an eye on your dashboard for a "Homecoming" promo that lets you reclaim your highest previous tier for 30 days just to get you back in the swing of things.
The bottom line: It’s a lot less "exclusive club" and a lot more "rewarding the regulars" this year.
